BIPOC SUPPORT GROUPS
People of all racial backgrounds are welcome in of our support groups. Additionally, NAMI SF has support groups for specific racial and ethnic backgrounds in different languages. Below you'll find the list of our specific groups for Black, Indigenous and People of Color Support.
For Individuals Living with a Mental Health Condition:

Mondays 6:00 - 7:15 pm. PT on Zoom
Our free and confidential BIPOC support groups offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope for BIPOC individuals (18+). All BIPOC Groups are facilitated by individuals who identify as BIPOC themselves.
Black Minds Matter (Affiliate)
Black Minds Matter is a free and confidential support group for individuals 18+ who identify as Black or African American. This group is facilitated Tamuri Richardson, a professional motivational speaker, communications consultant, coach, author and NAMI SF presenter. Email email@example.com with any questions.

For Family Members & Loved Ones:
Support for Black & African American Families and Loved Ones
2nd Saturdays of the Month at 10:30am - 12pm
This group is for families, caregivers, and friends of individuals who identify as Black or African American living with mental health conditions. Groups provide knowledge, understanding, and an opportunity to share experiences. Led by African American NAMI trained volunteers with extensive personal experience coping with mental illnesses and the impact on families and loved ones.
