Help Line: 415-237-0039

Our Help Line is a Warm Line, which means a volunteer from NAMI will contact you as soon as they are available.

  • We offer empathy, understanding and support, but do not provide counseling or therapy.

  • We can help identify options, but can’t provide specific recommendations for things like treatment.

  • We offer referrals to organizations, but do not provide individual casework, legal representation or other types of individual advocacy.

  • We will encourage callers in crisis or suicidal situations to call a national or local crisis line, but can’t engage in these situations.
