Black + African-American Support Group
2nd and 4th Wednesdays 6-7:30 pm on Zoom
Join us for a welcoming and affirming space created for Black and African American adults of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. Our peer support group offers a place to build community, share lived experiences, and find understanding among those who “truly get it.“ Led by NAMI-trained peer volunteers with personal experience coping with mental health challenges, our support group breaks down stigma and fosters a judgment-free zone where we can listen and be heard.

Faith-Based Peer Support Group with Grace Tabernacle Church

This faith-based group offers confidential support for mental health conditions, blending faith and conventional methods. We share experiences, offer support, and exchange coping strategies to foster hope and understanding through psychological and spiritual insights. Learn from others about local resources, community organizations, and personal coping strategies. Led by NAMI-trained volunteers with extensive personal experience coping with mental illnesses. Affiliate Support Groups
These peer-led affiliate groups offer supportive spaces to connect with others with similar experiences. While these meetings are separate from our NAMI-model groups and are not led by NAMI-trained facilitators, they can be a helpful way to build community, share stories, and exchange coping strategies.
Spirituality Support Group (Affiliate Group)
Virtual: 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 7 pm on Zoom
